Get 10% discount on your Jumia purchases, use Sterling Bank ATM

You can now enjoy 10% discount on all purchases you make on Jumia if you use a Sterling Bank ATM for payment and your checkout payment is less than N30,000!

Time to use that Sterling Bank card - be it yours, a pals or a sibling's!

Well, the N30,000 cap limit is really annoying, but if you're half as creative as me, you'll still milk out the universe off it.

Finally, a word of caution - if you live in Nembe or Brass, don't bother it's not worth the trouble.

Today's Crazy Deal: 30% off Dell laptops! Save up to N30,000!!

Today you'll get to save 30% on great Dell laptops on Jumia!

Yeah, save up to N30,000 on a powerful Dell laptop, and still get it for less than N70,000 (Dell Inspiron 3521)!

The qualifying laptops are -
Dell Vostro 2520 Core i3
Has a screen size of 15.6 inches (same as most regular laptops)
RAM of 4GB (very impressive)
Hard Disk of 320GB (just there)
CPU of 2.2 GHz Intel Core i3 ( this is really good, really good)
Runs Windows 8 (latest Windows OS)
Bluetooth, Webcam, DVD-RW
Verdict: For the super low N94,995 N70,995, this is worth the Naira! Oh, it comes with 1 year warranty too.

Dell Vostro 2521 Core i3
Has a screen size of 15.6 inches (same as most regular laptops)
RAM of 4GB (very impressive)
Hard Disk of 500GB (cool)
CPU of 2.2 GHz Intel Core i3 (not bad)
Runs Windows 8 (latest Windows OS)
Bluetooth, Webcam, DVD-RW
1 year warranty
Excellent battery life
Better Screen resolution than the Vostro 2520, better CPU technology and bigger hard disk. (what more do you want for N72,995?)
Verdict: It's going for N88,000 N72,995 today and it's worth way more than the Naira.

Then there is the Dell Inspiron 3521 going for N85,000 N67,995. For a techy like me, the dualcore 1.8 CPU is a no no, when I can easily get the Vostro 2521 by adding extra N5,000 or at worst get the Vostro 2520 by adding extra N3,000 (I can get an external drive to compensate for the small 320 GB hard disk, but I can't do anything about the lackluster CPU spec).

Dell Inspiron 15-N5050 going for N99,000 N68,995. This is cool too, and I recommend it if you don't want to switch to Windows 8.

Get the super sleek HTC 8X for N78,995 on Jumia!

You can now get the amazing super sleek HTC 8X for N78,995 on Jumia

Without looking up the specifications, I'm already drawn to buying this phone!

So for righteousness sake, let's move on to the (practical) specifications -

It supports 3G, HSPA and LTE. 3G is the usually 3G, HSPA is what our telcos advertise as 3.75G and LTE is the real 4G (not what Swift and its fellow WiMax brothers are pushing as 4G). Practically, this is your perfect travelling companion. You will be able to take advantage of the LTE service in your host country and probably loathe coming back to Nigeria

4.3 In touchscreen with an amazing resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels on a scratch resistant super-strong Corning Gorilla Glass. No comment, just too good.

Beats Audio. For those in the know.

1GB RAM (not bad)

16GB internal memory with no external SD card slot. (A big thumb down). My 16GB smartphone with an 8GB external memory is already giving me space issues, and I don't more than 60 music tracks on it. And just 1 movie too. Phone Applications these days are now in GBs.

8MP main camera (cool). 2MP front facing camera (impressive).

1.5 GHz Dula-core CPU that runs Windows Phone 8 OS (the sleekest phone OS)

And finally, this phone is really SLEEK!

If you want a Windows Phone, go for this!
